Creator schools you actually own.

An operator platform for infoproducers, academies and agencies. Every school is isolated — its own domain, catalog, learners and offers — running on one recorded-course engine you control.

Four planes, one platform

The product splits along the lines the business actually runs on. Each tile is a real destination in the app, not a marketing bucket.

Build

Modules, typed lessons, managed video, drafts and drip.

Sell

Explicit offers, checkout, orders and affiliate payouts.

Teach

Protected playback, progress, quizzes and course community.

Prove

Portable certificates that verify without exposing learners.

A school is a tenant, not a folder

Northstar Studio cannot see Field Notes Academy's students, threads, orders or email list — and neither can the other way around. The operator provisions and suspends schools, reads plan state and exports tenant data. Nobody browses across the boundary.

  • Provision and suspend schools
  • Read plan and platform-fee state
  • Export any tenant on request
  • No access to learner playback identity

Course kernel

Five block types. One honest video pipeline.

Lessons are typed, so the player, the progress rule and the editor all know what they are handling. Managed video reports Ready, Processing or Failed — nothing pretends an unresolved asset is healthy.

Drip is set per module; visibility is set per lesson. Publishing the course never unlocks a drip-locked lesson early.

One enrollment, scoped all the way down

A learner signs in once. What they can play, discuss and prove is decided by the enrollment record, not by a link someone forwarded.

Protected playback

Playback is signed per enrollment and expires with access. A revoked order closes the lesson the same day.

Progress & quizzes

Per-lesson completion, quiz attempts and scores. Sample school average progress: 68%.

Course community

Threads are scoped to the course inside the school. No cross-school feed, no public discovery.

Portable certificate

A public code proves course, school and date. The learner's email never appears on the proof page.

School billing and course sales are two ledgers

Plane one

School plan

Coursio charges the school owner monthly, plus a platform fee on course sales. This is the software relationship.

Plane two

Course offer

The school sells an explicit offer to a learner. Price, currency and refund policy belong to the creator.

Verified payment event

Landing on a checkout success page is not access. Enrollment is written when the payment event verifies, so a failed or refunded charge never leaves an open course behind it.

School plans are not published yet

No active plan is configured, so no price is shown here. Plans appear as soon as the operator activates one.

Create your school

What we guarantee, and what is still gated

Isolation, export and credential continuity are commitments. Video, storage and email allowances wait on a provider decision, and the product labels that state instead of inventing a number.

Read the ownership terms
Who owns the learner relationship?

The school. Learner identity is scoped to one school, and no school can read another's students, threads or email list.

Can I export everything?

Yes — course structure, lesson content, enrollments and progress, per school. Certificate codes keep verifying after export.

How much video is included?

Configuration required after provider PoC. No plan on this page claims unlimited video, storage or email.

What can an instructor see?

Their assigned courses and the community attached to them. Revenue, offers, billing, staff and school settings stay with the owner.

Is there a public course marketplace?

No. Discovery happens on each school's own storefront. Coursio does not cross-promote one creator's catalog to another's audience.

Open the school this week.

Register, brand it, publish one course and open an offer. The checklist is the same five gates for every Coursio school.

  • InfoproducersOne school, one catalog, your domain.
  • AcademiesMany schools, staff roles, one operator view.
  • AgenciesRun client schools without owning their audience.
